Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Manali to Chika
- Drive from Manali to Jobra (2 hrs) followed by a 2 km trek to Chika. Scenic valleys, Rani Nallah trail and riverside camping.
Day 2 – Chika to Balu Ka Ghera
- 8 km trek (5-6 hrs). Trek through meadows, rocky banks and cross the Hampta river to reach Balu ka Ghera campsite.
Day 3 – Balu Ka Ghera to Hampta Pass to Sehagoru
- 14 km trek (8-9 hrs). Summit push to Hampta Pass at 14,100 ft followed by descent through snowfields to Sehagoru.
Day 4 – Sehagoru to Chatru | Chandratal Excursion
- 8 km trek (4-5 hrs) to Chatru followed by drive to Chandratal Lake and return. Camp overnight at Chatru.
Day 5 – Chatru to Manali
- 85 km scenic drive (5-6 hrs) through Atal Tunnel back to Manali. Trek concludes.

Who Can Participate
Age Requirement
Minimum 9 years.
Experience
First-timers are welcome; prior trekking experience is an advantage.
Fitness Criteria
- Should be able to jog 5 km in 35 minutes without stress, OR 10 km in 80 minutes without stress.
- If cycling, should be able to cover 10 km in 30 minutes comfortably.
Backpack Capacity
- If carrying own backpack – should manage 10–12 kg load.
- If opting for off-loading – should be able to carry a 3–5 kg daypack.
Health & BMI
- Trekkers should ideally have a BMI between 18–29.
- If outside this range, please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.
