Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Manali to Chika

  • Drive from Manali to Jobra (2 hrs) followed by a 2 km trek to Chika. Scenic valleys, Rani Nallah trail and riverside camping.

Day 2 – Chika to Balu Ka Ghera

  • 8 km trek (5-6 hrs). Trek through meadows, rocky banks and cross the Hampta river to reach Balu ka Ghera campsite.

Day 3 – Balu Ka Ghera to Hampta Pass to Sehagoru

  • 14 km trek (8-9 hrs). Summit push to Hampta Pass at 14,100 ft followed by descent through snowfields to Sehagoru.

Day 4 – Sehagoru to Chatru | Chandratal Excursion

  • 8 km trek (4-5 hrs) to Chatru followed by drive to Chandratal Lake and return. Camp overnight at Chatru.

Day 5 – Chatru to Manali

  • 85 km scenic drive (5-6 hrs) through Atal Tunnel back to Manali. Trek concludes.
