Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day01

Drive: 8 hours (approx. 190 km).
Route: Dehradun → Mussoorie → Naugaon → Purola → Mori → Sankri.
Highlights: Scenic drive through pine forests, rivers, and Himalayan villages.
Stay: Guesthouse in Sankri.

Day02

Drive: Sankri to Taluka (11 km, 1 hour by jeep).
Trek: Taluka to Seema (12 km, 4-5 hours).
Trail Details: Gradual ascent along the Supin River, through dense forests and small villages.
Stay: Campsite at Seema.

Day03

Trek Distance: 10 km, 4-5 hours.
Trail Details: Gentle ascent along the Supin River, passing waterfalls and alpine meadows.
Stay: Campsite at Rainbasera.

Day04

Trek Distance: 8 km, 5-6 hours.
Trail Details: Moderate climb through meadows and rocky trails. Ruinsara Tal, a glacial lake, offers breathtaking views of Swargarohini Peak.
Stay: Campsite near Ruinsara Tal.

Day05

Trek Distance: 6 km, 4-5 hours.
Trail Details: Steeper ascent through moraine and boulders. Odari, meaning “cave,” is believed to have sheltered Lord Hanuman.
Stay: Campsite at Odari.

Day06

Trek Distance: 5 km, 4-5 hours.
Trail Details: Steep and challenging climb. The trail offers panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and Swargarohini.
Stay: Campsite at Bali Col Camp.

Day07

Trek Distance: 15 km, 7-8 hours.
Trail Details: Cross Bali Pass, a steep ascent with snow patches and scree. Descend sharply to Lower Dhamni through alpine meadows and dense forests.
Stay: Campsite at Lower Dhamni.

Day08

Trek Distance: 8 km, 4-5 hours.
Drive: Janki Chatti to Dehradun (7-8 hours).
Trail Details: Easy descent through forests. Janki Chatti is a popular base for the Yamunotri trek.
